Vindigo Studios Launches Two New Wallpaper Applications for
Verizon Wireless Get It Now® Customers
New York (January 28, 2004) - Vindigo Studios, one of the best-known
developers and publishers of consumer applications for mobile devices, and
Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless provider and operator of
the nation's most reliable wireless network, today announced the launch
of two new wallpaper applications on Get It Now. Pictorama™, by Vindigo®,
landscape-themed wallpaper, and CritterPic™, by Vindigo, animal-themed
wallpaper, feature more than two hundred images combined.
Pictorama quickly sorts photos by Water, Mountain, Floral, and Desert categories.
Similarly, CritterPic groups images by Baby Animal, Wild Animal, Dog, and
Cat themes. Both applications preview 4 images simultaneously to allow consumers
to effortlessly find the perfect shot for their wallpaper library and allow
a new fun way to customize their mobile phone.
"We have built CritterPic and Pictorama using one basic principle - make
it easy to use," said Jason Devitt, CEO of Vindigo Studios. "With these
products, even the least-tech savvy consumers will now be able personalize
their mobile phone."
Customers with Verizon Wireless Get It Now-capable phones can easily download
images from either Pictorama or CritterPic. Pricing for each application
is $1.99 for one image, $3.99 for three images or $4.99 for five images.
Verizon Wireless customers must have a Get It Now enabled handset and Verizon
Wireless' digital services to use this service. Where applicable, airtime,
roaming and long distance charges may apply when browsing, downloading and
using certain applications.
