VINDIGO ACQUIRES WAYMOBILE.COM

Acquisition of Innovative Developer Accelerates Entry into Mobile Commerce, Ringtones and More

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - October 25, 2004 - At CTIA Wireless IT and Entertainment 2004, Vindigo, one of the best-known publishers of consumer applications for mobile devices, today announced the acquisition of waymobile.com, Inc., the San Diego-based developer and publisher of some the industry's most advanced mobile content and commerce products, including AwayAuction™ for eBay®. Through Vindigo's extensive carrier distribution network and porting expertise, waymobile.com's innovative mobile services will now be available to wireless subscribers on every major carrier in the U.S. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"Together we will streamline and more efficiently respond to the overwhelming demand for waymobile.com's products from mobile carriers and subscribers," said Jason Devitt, chief executive officer, Vindigo. "The acquisition strengthens Vindigo's already extensive catalog of mobile lifestyle products and accelerates our entry into other categories, including mobile commerce, ringtones and more."

AwayAuction for eBay, an easy-to-use product to stay on top of eBay listings from anywhere, and other products from waymobile.com will be re-branded to reflect their new home in the Vindigo portfolio.

Vindigo Studios will retain waymobile.com's San Diego offices in its first expansion outside of its headquarters in New York.
